Adriano is co-founder and managing director. He is a proven financial expert with extensive management experience. Previously he spent several years in leadership roles at UBS and Credit Suisse in Switzerland and abroad and was a senior lecturer at the University of Zurich. His studies took him to the London School of Economics, the University of Rochester (NY) and Wharton School. The business magazine BILANZ voted him one of the Top 100 Swiss Bankers.

Mara is Deputy CEO and is responsible for clients and portfolio management. She has over 30 years of experience in wealth management, serving Swiss and international clients at renowned Swiss private banks.
Philipp Pag email
Philipp is responsible for business development. He holds a master's degree in banking and finance from the University of Zurich and has gained professional experience in Asia. Since 2020, Descartes has benefited from his innovative and analytical approach to data and cross-cultural issues.
Christian Del Bianco email
Christian is Senior Solution Architect and technical team leader. He has extensive experience in building systems for the finance and insurance industries, using a variety of technologies and the most common software design patterns. Christian has held leading positions in Swiss initiatives such as Insuretech Toni Digital and Robo-Advisor investclick.

Rino Borini email
Rino is Chairman of the Board of Descartes Finance. He is one of Switzerland's leading experts in the field of digital finance. In the fall of 2020, the business magazine BILANZ named him one of the Digital Shapers 2020, i.e. the 100 most important minds driving digitalization in the country. Rino is co-founder and CEO of Scarossa, an independent consulting and media company in Zurich. The company focuses on digital transformation of the finance industry as well as “Next Generation Finance” and is the organizer of Switzerland's leading digital finance platform “Finance 2.0”. Furthermore, Rino is head of studies and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences, HWZ Zurich, and leads the courses CAS Digital Finance and CAS Digital Insurance.
Mirjam Schaffner email
Mirjam is member of the Board of Directors of Descartes Finance. She studied Business Administration at the University of Zurich and is a proven expert in culture and leadership development. She has been successfully running her own consulting boutique synfluence for 10 years and is co-founder of Coleop. As a bridge builder between the two worlds of "classic-traditional" and "agile, new work", she shapes optimal forms of collaboration and organisation in co-creation with her clients. She also shares her passion for people and their development in a professional context with students in guest lectures at the University of Zurich and Lucerne.
Anna Stünzi email
Anna is member of the Board of Directors of Descartes Finance. She studied psychology and economics at the Universities of Zurich and Copenhagen and completed her doctorate at the Center for Economic Research at ETH Zurich. She currently works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of St. Gallen, has an affiliation at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and lectures at the University of St. Gallen and ETH Zurich. She is also a member of the Executive Board of GOE mbH and President of foraus, the Swiss think tank on foreign policy. In 2017, she co-founded and established the Sustainable FinTech project at foraus.
Eric Gisiger email
Eric is member of the Board of Directors of Descartes Finance and Managing Partner at Swiss Private Equity Partners AG. Prior to his current role, he was a co-founder and Managing Partner at Helvetica Capital Ltd, a private equity advisor focused on long-term, value-added direct investment opportunities, with active shareholder roles as a Board member. Previously, he was a co-founder and investment director at Credit Suisse Entrepreneur Capital Ltd, a private equity firm. Eric graduated from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) with a degree in Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
